Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading content provider in producing, distributing and delivering programming worldwide. As a key member of the Commercial Strategy team, you will provide support in developing commercial strategies for the Asia region with a focus on content licensing activities.

This role involves formulating commercial proposals, conducting market analysis and financial modeling to support negotiations associated with TV and Feature Film Content licensing deals across all of Asia. You will also be responsible for analyzing commercial deals, collaborating with offices across Asia and Los Angeles, and implementing internal processes to ensure compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and execution of commercial strategies that align with Sony Pictures' goals and objectives.
  • Formulate commercial proposals and conduct market analysis to support negotiations associated with TV and Feature Film Content licensing deals.
  • Take ownership of analyzing commercial deals and deliver well-structured financial models and deal recommendations.

Requirements:

  • MBA degree holder or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Strategy Analytics, Sales or Sales Analytics.
  • Ability to navigate complex market dynamics and understand content licensing deal structuring processes.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Strong numeracy and analytical ability.
  • Persuasive communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and ability to speak Mandarin, Korean and/or Japanese.
