Operations Supervisor Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced operations supervisor to oversee vessel movements, ensure smooth tugboat deployment, and maintain effective communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor real-time vessel positions, routes, and schedules using relevant monitoring systems.
  • Maximise resources by ensuring tugboats are promptly deployed according to schedules and job requirements, closely coordinating with all relevant stakeholders to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels for smooth tugboat operations, promptly addressing any issues or concerns as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to tugboat deployment by collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of tugboat schedules, operational activities, and other relevant documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations by adjusting plans and deployment on top of rendering necessary assistance.
  • Carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested by management.

Requirements:

  • GCE "O" Level / NITEC qualification.
  • Preferably with 2 years of experience in the marine industry.
  • Familiarity with local port waters is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Bilingual.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
