Job Summary

Dbs Bank Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our Consumer Banking Group (CBGO). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading risk management and control efforts across six core CBGO markets and five brokerage units.

This role requires strong collaboration with location and other regional risk units, as well as the ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Banking/Financial Services industry and a sound understanding of financial services processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities to ensure alignment with the organization's risk appetite.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews and key risk indicator analysis to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Oversee remediation of control gaps identified through root cause analysis and lessons learnt.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Adequate knowledge and application of risk policies & banking regulations.
  • Proven success in excelling as individual contributor and leading by influencing.
  • Exposure to one or more of CBGO markets for DBS.
  • Good organisational and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Having strong thought leadership and motivational skills.
