Site Reliability Engineer

The primary goal of a Site Reliability Engineer is to ensure the smooth operation and high availability of software systems.

About this Role
  • This role involves developing and maintaining scripts that interact with Google Workspace and Zoom, including users, groups, meeting rooms, licenses, activity logs, and configurations.
  • The engineer will be responsible for normalizing and structuring data for analysis, reporting, and alerting purposes.
  • Automated alerting systems need to be built to identify anomalies, policy violations, or operational issues in Workspace or Zoom environments.
  • Workflows should be designed to automate tasks such as user provisioning, license management, and configuration updates.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scripts for data retrieval and processing from Google Workspace and Zoom.
  • Normalize and structure data for effective analysis and reporting.
  • Create automated alerting systems to monitor system performance and security.
  • Design workflows for automating routine tasks and improving overall system efficiency.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Google Workspace and Zoom, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Bash.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and database concepts.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
