Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and support projects involving project planning and execution, operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment used in membrane fabrication, testing, and pilot transfer.

This role plays a pivotal part in executing the technology validation portion of the translation process and requires experience in project execution, process operation and optimization, and pilot transfer of translated technologies on pilot scale in collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead and support projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Machinery and Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in membrane fabrication, testing, and pilot transfer.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise in gas membrane separation technology, hollow-fibre potting, and gas membrane/module testing.
  • Process Optimization: Drive and execute tasks related to membrane translation projects, membrane QC validation, daily minimum maintenance of membrane fabrication equipment, and membrane module fabrication from small-scale modules up to industrial-scale modules.
  • Pilot System Operation: Operate in-house pilot system to evaluate the performance of membrane modules of new technologies, including test protocol preparation and process parameter optimization.
  • Engineering and Process Design: Support and contribute to discussions leading to engineering and process flow design for processes and operations.
  • State-of-the-Art Knowledge: Stay abreast with state-of-the-art developments in membrane separation technologies.
  • SOPs and Maintenance: Prepare, operationalize, and maintain SOPs pertaining to membrane processes and support preventive maintenance procedures for membrane fabrication and testing equipment.
  • Compliance and Communication: Uphold strict compliance with Environment, Safety, and Health regulations and present regular project progress to collaborators and relevant parties.
