Education Manager Position

  Job Description:

As an Education Manager, you will oversee educational programs and initiatives at our institution. Your primary responsibility is to develop, coordinate, and implement engaging educational experiences for diverse audiences.

Key tasks include planning talks, lectures, and educational programs tailored to various groups, including schools, community groups, and the general public. You will also be responsible for facilitating school and community group visits, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience that meets curriculum goals and community interests.

Additionally, you will design and produce digital content, learning guides, and exhibition materials that enhance visitor understanding and engagement. This includes collecting and analyzing feedback and data to drive continuous improvement in educational offerings.

You will also support in promoting educational initiatives through outreach activities and digital platforms, as well as assist in docent management and training initiatives.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess relevant qualifications in education, museum studies, arts management, history, or related fields. You should also have proven experience in museum education or similar cultural institutions.

Strong project management and organizational skills are essential, as well as being friendly, meticulous, and able to work effectively in a team. Ability to work on selected weeknights and weekends with time-off given accordingly on weekdays is required.
