About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and enhancing operational capability in the domain of service delivery. Your key responsibilities include operational planning, system management, parliamentary duties, and event organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the structure and concept of operations to ensure undisrupted MINDEF/SAF service operations
  • Draw up plans for refresh, and ensure the availability and relevance of the MINDEF/SAF Intranet systems and processes
  • Coordinate parliamentary duties and responses for Parliamentary Questions (PQ), Committee of Supply (COS) Debate and other Parliamentary sessions and processes for MINDEF/SAF
  • Plan and organize National Day Observance Ceremonies at MINDEF Building
  • Take ownership of assigned areas of work and assist with other tasks/projects as needed for the overall success of the department

Challenges:

Managing diverse responsibilities from operational planning to event organization

Requirements:

  • Education in Business or Information Technology (IT) is preferred
  • At least 3 years of working experience in organisation planning and development, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and/or resource planning and management, Business process engineering, corporate IT or web management
  • Experience in managing operations-type work is advantageous
  • Strong inclination for operations work
  • Good command and control of operations
  • Strong networking skills
  • Comfortable with regular interactions with MINDEF senior leadership
