**Job Title:** Project Cost Controller

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from initial planning stages through to completion. This role involves working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that costs are accurately estimated, controlled, and reported throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Estimate and manage project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and services;
  2. Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to meet or exceed project targets;
  3. Prepare and present regular cost reports to stakeholders, highlighting variances and areas for improvement;
  4. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities;
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
  6. Contribute to business development activities, such as tendering and estimating, to secure new projects and expand the company's portfolio.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project cost control or a related role;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to learn new software applications quickly;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible attitude towards change.
