Job Title: Customer Service Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and verifying shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders. They will also coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse teams for booking, pickup, and delivery arrangements. Additionally, they will track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve delays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Administration:
    • Preparation and Processing: Prepare, process, and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
    • Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse teams for booking, pickup, and delivery arrangements.
    • Tracking and Monitoring: Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve delays.
  • Customer Service:
    • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries regarding shipment status, delivery updates, and documentation.
    • Order Fulfillment: Maintain customer orders from entry to fulfillment, ensuring service standards are met.
    • Feedback and Recovery: Handle feedback, complaints, and service recovery in a professional manner.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Freight-Forwarding, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or customer service.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS system is advantageous.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are essential.
