Culinary Team Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our culinary services.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the efficient management of our kitchen operations, contributing to the overall success of our outlet, in line with our corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing assigned kitchen operations as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling kitchen operations and administration.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in all aspects of food service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict hygiene and health and safety protocols.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Junior Sous Chef or 4 years as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards, preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to teach and inspire team members to achieve their best.
