Building Services Operations Manager Job Description

As a Building Services Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful completion of building services projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with procurement teams for tender quotations and project claims.
  • Work closely with architecture, structure, electrical, process mechanical, and control teams to develop construction shop drawings.
  • Ensure timely handover of building TOP/CSC, O&M Manual/As Built drawings to clients.
  • Support project teams in scheduling and manpower arrangements.
  • Supervise the installation and testing/commissioning of building services packages.
  • Develop cost estimates for B&S equipment and works, including scheduling B&S activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in water, wastewater, and WTE projects.
  • Relevant Building Services engineering experience is advantageous, particularly in ACMV, BMS, Fire Protection Systems, Plumbing and Sanitary Systems, Structured Cabling Systems, Emergency Voice Communication Systems, Integrated Security Management Systems, Electric Lifts.
  • Familiarity with code of practice and standards in Singapore is essential.
  • Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D is preferred, along with other related design software.
  • Excellent coordination skills and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Selection, Installation, and Commissioning of Building Services equipment.
  • Experience in Building Management System (BMS).
  • Project Execution, Supervising, and Coordination with sub-contractors, consultant, and Client.
  • Good technical knowledge of Building Services equipment.
