Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bioprocessing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine manufacturing processes and equipment preparation, as well as supporting day-to-day production activities.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving the efficiency of our production lines, ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Process Management: Perform routine manufacturing processes and equipment preparation, including CIP, PT, and SIP tasks.
  • Production Support: Assist in day-to-day production activities, record data according to EBR, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Conduct regular equipment checks and monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues, ensuring high-quality products are produced.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in biotechnology and related areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma/ITE in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology: A degree in one of these fields is essential for this role.
  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in biotechnologist/laboratory settings.
  • Familiarity with GMP Guidelines: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines is crucial for this position.
  • Basic Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with Fermentation Cell Culture, Bioreactor Processing, Media and Buffer Preparation, and Downstream Processing is an added advantage.
