Trading Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • Manage daily reporting of trading positions and profit/loss for the trading team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clearing brokers to ensure accurate trade matching on the trade date.
  • Work closely with traders to address and resolve any discrepancies in profit/loss or trade bookings.
  • Assist in market analysis and contribute to reports and presentations.
  • Analyze trading performance, profit/loss attribution, and risk metrics.
  • Drive process improvements in trade booking, position reconciliation, and profit/loss reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the trading team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the oil trading sector or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese for effective communication with stakeholders.
