Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement Support: Collaborate with multiple departments to procure products and services, soliciting competitive bids in accordance with standard procurement policies and procedures.
  2. Requisition Confirmation & Coordination: Verify requisitions from various departments, addressing discrepancies or incomplete information regarding specifications, quality, quantity, or delivery requirements.
  3. Bid Evaluation & Vendor Clarification: Organize and facilitate technical and commercial clarification meetings with vendors to ensure understanding of specifications and requirements.
  4. Cost Optimization & Recommendations: Recommend alternatives or substitutions to achieve cost savings or improved delivery timelines without compromising quality or specifications.
  5. Purchase Contracts Review & Management: Check purchase contracts to ensure alignment between the company and vendors, monitoring and managing contracts to meet vendor obligations.
Requirements
  1. A recognized university degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with familiarity in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiation.
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  4. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Proficiency in commercial bid evaluation and purchase contracts review.
  6. Strong written and spoken proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with vendors and stakeholders.
  7. Results-oriented with a strong commitment to teamwork and delivering results on time.
  8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  9. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Estimated Salary: SGD $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
