Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Service Professional at The Standard Hotel is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through prompt and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm greetings and ensure timely seating of guests.
  • Offer menus and introduce daily specials and promotions.
  • Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen efficiently.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, service, and preparation methods.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables.
  • Ensure all service areas are clean and well-organized.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar colleagues to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School diploma or higher.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the F&B industry in Singapore is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems is a plus.
