Premier Underwriter

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled underwriter to manage underwriting activities for our retail and SME segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for digital products underwriting, manual underwriting of new products, and building relationships with intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support underwriting activities across multiple distribution channels.
  • Participate in relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferable.
  • Working experience with substantial experience gained within the insurance industry.
  • Thorough understanding of class specific underwriting and procedure.
  • Working experience in the insurance industry.
