
Railway Signaling Systems Engineer

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning the signaling system for a medium-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore. This project is part of the Thomson–East Coast line, which is currently under construction.
The successful applicant will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the ATS subsystem with other external interfaces. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining test cases for the ATS subsystem and its external interfaces
- Preparing testing activities for the ATS signaling system
- Executing tests efficiently and proactively
- Identifying defects and troubleshooting issues
- Reporting defects and following up on detected issues
- Delivering the commissioning report on time
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Technical Requirements
The selected candidate will require:
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering, V&V, T&C, or Maintenance for Railway Signaling
- Sound knowledge of Windows, MS office tools, and Linux
- Knowledge of XML, SQL, Wireshark, and networking fundamentals
- Good knowledge of English (read, written, spoken)
Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience is required. The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
