Job Title:

Solar Project Manager (Renewable Energy)


About the Job:
  • The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of solar energy system design, build, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and implement solar energy systems
  2. Oversee onsite installation teams to ensure timely completion and quality standards
  3. Act as the primary contact between clients and stakeholders during construction phases
  4. Develop, review, and adjust project work plans to meet client requirements
  5. Supervise the entire construction process from pre- to post-construction, including handover
  6. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  7. Identify and address safety risks, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations
  8. Conduct quality assurance reviews throughout the project
  9. Ensure smooth project delivery and system activation
  10. Support continuous improvement for project processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in solar project management and execution
  • Proficient in energy modelling software (e.g., PVsyst), AutoCAD, and construction modelling tools
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, creative, and passionate about renewable energy
  • Six Sigma or Kaizen certification is an advantage
