Job Details

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Operations Engineer.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects and maintenance contracts, ensuring that all contractual requirements and deliverables are met in a timely manner. This will involve coordinating with various stakeholders including sub-contractors, service providers, suppliers, and clients.
  • The successful candidate will also lead teams in the supply, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical systems. This will include chilled water systems, air handling units, fan coil units, variable refrigerant flow systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and building management systems.
  • Hands-on field work is an essential part of this role, and the candidate will be required to test, commission, and troubleshoot BMS and field devices at site.
  • The operations engineer will also be responsible for monitoring chiller plant and equipment operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will prepare project progress and maintenance reports, and manage contract billing cycles.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in project coordination, team leadership, and troubleshooting is essential for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in ACMV maintenance is required, preferably with industrial or commercial air-conditioning/chiller systems.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and have a positive attitude towards their work.
