Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies for electrical equipment, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic asset management plan.
- Manage end-to-end tender processes, ensuring corporate governance and best value procurement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including planning, projects, operations, and engineering teams.
- Identify and resolve supplier performance and contractual issues, ensuring timely and accurate administration of contracts.
- Develop deep category, product, and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the sub-categories managed.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years' procurement experience in a utilities company, government, or MNC, preferably in electrical equipment category.
- Demonstrated understanding of procurement processes and principles.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in SAP and/or procurement systems will be advantageous.
- A positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
