Job Summary:
As a Recruitment Officer, your primary responsibility is to attract, assess, and select qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their hiring requirements, source potential candidates through various channels, and manage the entire recruitment process. This role requires a combination of interpersonal skills, organizational acumen, and a keen understanding of the company's culture and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Needs Assessment:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements, including skills, qualifications, and experience needed for open positions.
  • Analyze and anticipate future hiring needs based on organizational goals and growth projections.
2. Sourcing and Outreach:
  • Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to actively source and attract potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive outreach and relationship-building activities.
3. Candidate Screening:
  • Review resumes and applications to ensure they meet the job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
4. Interview Coordination:
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members.
  • Provide necessary information to candidates and ensure a positive interview experience.
5. Candidate Assessment:
  • Administer pre-employment assessments and tests, as required.
  • Evaluate candidates based on skills, cultural fit, and alignment with the organization's values.
6. Reference Checking:
  • Conduct reference checks for selected candidates to validate their professional background and qualifications.
7. Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:
  • Work with the HR team and hiring managers to negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
8. Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the recruitment database.
  • Generate and analyze recruitment reports to track key metrics and optimize the recruitment process.
9. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of recruitment activities.
10. Adhoc duties
  • Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist with paperwork.

Qualifications:
  • No experience required (Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus)
  • Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
