The head of sustainability for APAC, will be responsible for setting the direction in this dynamic area, leading and setting the agenda both externally and internally. This role reports to the Head of Solutions for APAC. The role requires you to have client impact at scale. This is a critical leadership role shaping our agenda and supporting clients to help them determine their sustainability strategies.

This role requires strong client leadership skills in order to showcase our offer to clients and demonstrating the business outcomes achieved via our offer. It also requires engagement across the business training up internal teams on the sustainability offer and building their capability to support clients across the region. As the head of sustainabilty, you will continue to build and grow our reputation as experts in this area with clients, partners and internally.

Key responsibilities

Solution Leadership:

. Deliver business goals - leading team in delivering sales and profit targets

. Build medium to long term strategy and goals to grow the domain

. Make clear recommendations to CEO on medium-long term opportunities and its implications for people, structure & processes

. Access & build effectively Kantar's expertise in sustainability, and continue to support innovation agenda to meet client needs in this space with a focus on collaboration and cross selling

. Champion Kantar as a leading expert in sustainability

People Leadership:

. Coach and influence teams to build expertise across the region in sustainability

. Provide expert guidance to senior employees on complex assignments and critical client issues & opportunities

. Champion learning and knowledge integration across Kantar creating a vibrant learning culture and innovating the offer to delight and grow clients

. Mentor employees from other functions to further enable the total Kantar business

Client leadership

. Build and develop strong client relationships at a senior level to define and identify business opportunities

. Identify new potential clients and business streams in particular where we can include sustainability expertise and solutions into our existing client relationships partnering with other experts to cross sell where appropriate

. Inspire the business around importance of subject matter expertise and ensure we use this expertise to answer client questions brilliantly

. Build network of contacts cross kantar to create greater impact for clients

Key Outcomes:

. Delivery of sustainability revenue targets

. Building the reputation of Kantar in the sustainability arena across APAC

. Setting goals for the team that drive the Company's business success through continuous improvements in quality, costs, time and services

Capabilities and experience

You must be a highly motivated individual who possess a strong commercial growth mentality to ensure the business stays ahead amidst the competitive market, and constantly build a sustainable pipeline.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

. Identifying growth opportunities across the Kantar offer with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for working with new clients to foster long term sustainable partnerships.

  • Willing to be very hands-on and multi-task including managing clients, involved in projects, administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to navigate around complexities in a highly matrix organisation and work collaboratively across other functions and business units.
