Director, Vice-Chairman's Office

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director to join our Vice-Chairman's Office as Director, Vice-Chairman's Office. This role will focus on driving corporate development, shaping corporate strategies, and overseeing special projects to further advance our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to women and children. As the Director of Vice-Chairman's Office, you will work closely with the Executive Vice-Chairman to drive initiatives that enhance organizational growth, innovation, and impact.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Development:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic opportunities for business expansion, including partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and alliances.
- Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and due diligence to assess potential opportunities and risks.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, financial models, and presentations to support decision-making processes related to corporate development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to negotiate and structure deals that align with Thomson Medical's strategic objectives and enhance its position in the market.
Corporate Strategies:
- Work closely with the Executive Vice-Chairman to formulate and refine corporate strategies that support the organisation's mission, vision, and values.
- Conduct strategic assessments and analysis of industry trends, patient demographics, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities.
- Develop strategic plans, initiatives, and objectives to drive organizational performance, enhance patient experience, and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Special Projects:
- Lead and oversee special projects, which may include initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve clinical outcomes, or expand service offerings.
- Establish project goals, timelines, and resource allocations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Executive Vice-Chairman and senior leadership team, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and areas for attention.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferably with a MBA.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development, strategy consulting, or related fields, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex corporate development projects, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to synthesize information, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of resilience, adaptability, and strategic agility.
