From our offices in Singapore & France we operate projects across Europe, South East Asia and beyond.

We are searching for an amazing Head of Events to partner with our current Head of Events. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for organizing events, is highly skilled at it, passionate about people and has experience in managing events in one of our main pillars. The role will involve both strategic high level direction and hands on event management to ensure the success of the events under your purview. This includes being involved from the initial briefing to pre-event management, on-site production and through to analysing the success of event projects.

Head of Events Responsibilities

Business Development

- Qualifies, tracks, and manages customer activities through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

- Cultivate business networks through active customer engagement initiatives such as leading Client presentations, site inspections and Industry Trade Show participation.

- Manage strategic industry and professional supplier relations, including collaboration with external stakeholders to optimize solutions for Clients' ever-changing event needs.

- Execute contracts with customers in accordance with the company's legal standards.

- Plan and implement strategies to foster good local event industry relationships.

- Plan and implement strategies to maintain relationships with the top clients in the industry

- Plan and implement strategies to maintain long-term relationships with suppliers through exploring schemes like preferential agreements, exclusive partnerships, etc.

Business Operations

- Align to the company's business objectives and define the team's key performance indicators to facilitate effective and measurable appraisals.

- Ensure that the managers are meeting their targets on a monthly and/or quarterly basis

- Identify each Team members' strengths to leverage and provide opportunities for growth.

- Work with the HR department to achieve company's hiring strategies through the various hiring schemes (Internship,Permanent & Contract hires) for continuity and to meet project production / operations demands.

- Liaise with the HR Department to train, coach and counsel Team members to ensure they are able to produce quality work outputs and effective client management strategies.

- Liaise with the HR Department to identify mentoring opportunities to internally develop Teams' project-related skill sets.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues and matters related to Team management.

- Manage Team productivity through leading of weekly meetings.

- Ensure smooth and efficient communication between the Production and the Creative teams.

Project Planning

- Direct and facilitate in-depth analysis of Clients' requirements, vision and strategic branding to develop relevant and impactful event experiences.

- Strategize, plan and allocate both internal and external resources.

- Review teams' project proposals to ensure deliverables achieve the Clients' intended outcome.

- Review teams' project budgeting to ensure cost effective project delivery beneficial to both the client and Chab.

Project Operations

- Oversee/Supervise Team's project operation in terms of cost, time, quality and resource management.

- Oversee/Supervise Team's project execution to ensure event deliverables are executed smoothly and synchronized with company expectations, including operational excellence for the best client experience through PLC & Internal and external Post mortem.

- Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of any project-related issues and matters.

Project Closing

- Review Team's sales target achieved vs. financial budget forecast together with the Sales Director or CBO where applicable.

- Liaise with the Finance Department to review monthly project closing data.

- Facilitate review of key lessons learnt for completed projects through Top Failures & Knowledge sharings exercises.
