Our ideal candidate is organized, collaborative and proactive in working with our Food Manufacturing teams to ensure quality products are produced, packed and delivered to our customers. The candidate will also be a key member of our Halal Certification Team to ensure we put in place all the necessary documentation and process for a successful Halal certification application.

Responsibilities:

This is an important role to support the Head of Food Manufacturing to ensure a smooth running of day-to-day operations, including ensuring ingredients, inventory, equipment and tools are sufficient, and restock supplies for the next shift, and performing quality checks on ingredients and finished products. Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry works relating to inventory, purchasing and invoicing.
  • Assisting in the performance of monthly inventory count and the tabulation of inventory count data.
  • Proper filing of all documents such as purchase invoices, sales invoices, equipment maintenance documents etc.
  • Preparation of documentation pertaining to all regulatory, licensing, accreditation and certification requirements (including Halal certification requirements) and to liaise with the relevant external parties, as needed.
  • Assisting to update and maintain a logbook/ record of equipment maintenance and liaising with maintenance vendors, as needed.
  • Facilitating daily operational work such as labelling, organising workspaces etc.
  • Any other ad-hoc work as may be assigned by the Head of Manufacturing and CEO.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an Operations setting
  • Possess at least GCE 'N'/ 'O' level.
  • Proficient in MS Office Basic Math and Computer skills
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated and highly independent.
  • Pleasant personality, meticulous, responsible, positive working attitude and hardworking.
  • Willing to work independently or with other team members to solve problems.
  • Able to work early mornings, nights, Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays
