About the job ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Windows & Virtualisation Platform)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Manage and maintain Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

. Oversee Active Directory services, including user and group management, GPO implementation, and security best practices.

. Develop and maintain PowerShell or other scripting solutions for automation and system management tasks.

. Experience with VMWare and VDI Horizon for virtualization and desktop infrastructure management.

. Familiarity with AWS GCC (Government Cloud) for cloud infrastructure management and security compliance.

. Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.

. Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve technical issues.

. Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

. Proven experience as a Windows Administrator or similar role.

. In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.

. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting.

. Experience with VMWare and VDI Horizon for virtualization and desktop infrastructure management.

. Familiarity with AWS for cloud infrastructure management and security compliance.

. Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.

. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or CompTIA Server+.

. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

About the job ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Unix Platform)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Manage and maintain Unix servers, including AIX and Red Hat Linux, through installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

. Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and shell scripts for automation of system management tasks.

. Oversee middleware platforms such as IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

. Implement and maintain configuration management and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks.

. Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.

. Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve technical issues.

. Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

. Proven experience as a Unix Administrator with a focus on AIX and Red Hat Linux administration.

. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible and shell scripting for automation and system management tasks.

. Experience with middleware platforms such as IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ is highly desirable.

. Sound knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.

. Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.

. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

. Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX.

. Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus.
