Key Responsibilities:
Real Estate & Market Research:
- Conduct comprehensive market research in potential international markets to identify growth opportunities and inform real estate decisions.
- Assess and analyze global market trends, regulatory environments, and competitor landscapes to shape CHAGEE's expansion strategy.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic real estate planning models in alignment with CHAGEE's long-term goals.
- Collaborate with external consultants (e.g., McKinsey) and internal teams to refine store planning strategies and market-entry models.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure prime retail locations for new store openings in targeted regions.
Franchise Development:
- Lead the development of franchise models and execute franchise agreements with prospective partners.
- Drive franchise growth through joint ventures and direct franchise partnerships, ensuring alignment with CHAGEE's brand and operational standards.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with franchisees and support them in achieving operational excellence.
Joint Venture (JVA) Negotiations:
- Lead and manage joint venture negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for CHAGEE while building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Assess and evaluate the structure, terms, and potential partners for joint ventures, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (operations, legal, finance, etc.) to drive real estate and franchise development goals.
- Maintain relationships with real estate developers, agents, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Store Planning & Design:
- Oversee the planning and design of new stores, ensuring they align with CHAGEE's brand and operational objectives.
- Coordinate with store planning teams to ensure efficient space utilization, cost-effective construction, and design consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in real estate expansion, franchise development, and/or joint venture management, ideally within the retail or beverage sector.
- Proven track record of successful real estate and franchise planning, including international market expansion.
- Strong knowledge of joint venture agreements, franchise operations, and negotiation strategies.
- Experience working with external consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, etc.) for strategic planning and market analysis.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to assess real estate market conditions, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership, franchisees, and external partners.
