Roles & Responsibilities

Proposal Engineer / Proposal Manager to support bid and tender efforts for projects in piling, geotechnical, and foundation works. This role is critical in ensuring timely, competitive, and technically sound submissions to secure key projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the preparation of bid submissions, technical proposals, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with the engineering, project, and commercial teams to gather necessary input for each bid.
  • Review and interpret tender requirements, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare method statements, work schedules, resource plans, and cost breakdowns.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain quotations and technical information.
  • Ensure proposals are compliant, accurate, and aligned with project requirements and deadlines.
  • Participate in tender clarifications, presentations, and negotiations when required.
  • Maintain a library of proposal materials, templates, and successful submissions for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within piling, foundation, or geotechnical construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ground engineering and foundation construction methods.
  • Familiarity with local tender processes and statutory submission requirements.
