Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design and configure database for Murex Datamart implementation.
  • Detailed understanding and working knowledge of configuration of Murex Datamart objects.
  • Ability to carry out configuration for accounting, transaction, compliance, PL, cash flow etc reports.
  • SQL language, preferably in Sybase environment. Should have knowledge of procedure, function, trigger, index and tuning Market Data experience including MDRS, MDCS and RTBS.
  • Unix system commands and shell/Perl script programming.
  • Should have experience of creating technical/functional documents along with requirement analysis/client facing roles.

Requirements:

  • 6-7 years of experience working as a Datamart developer.
  • Thorough understanding of relational databases
  • At least 1 Murex greenfield implementation and 1 murex upgrade experience is mandatory.
  • High level understanding of financial products like Derivatives, forex is crucial.
  • Extensive experience in data lineage and sourcing data from multiple upstream systems is crucial.
