Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: -

  • The IMS & Sustainability Executive owns Hexacon's Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001), EHS and sustainability initiatives and related-certification activities – ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and award readiness.
  • Manage, disseminate and maintain the Company's Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the EHS management system; ensuring compliance with updated standards
  • Liaise with certification bodies and coordinate all IMS, EHS Risk Management System, GGBS Star, BizSafe and ConSASS audits to achieve timely certifications
  • Implement, communicate and monitor sustainability programs (energy/water reduction, waste management, etc.), reporting progress against GGBS Star and EMS targets and recommending cost-effective, eco-friendly solutions
  • Schedule and organize the annual IMS Management Review Meeting; compile inputs, prepare presentation materials, record minutes and monitor follow-up actions
  • Coordinate EHS audits and compile safety award submissions (BizSafe, ConSASS); compile schedules and assist with award applications
  • Conduct IMS and EHS internal training sessions and workshops, empowering employees with knowledge of IMS, safety regulations and best practices
  • Provide general administrative support to the Senior Management and perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Possess Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science/Engineering, Sustainability or related field
  • Minimum 2 years managing ISO-based systems (9001/14001/45001), EHS or sustainability initiatives in the construction industry; fresh graduates with a strong interest in ISO/EHS are welcome
  • Accredited WSH or equivalent
