**Overview**
**What you’ll be doing**
- Incident Management: Assist in responding to and resolving production incidents, investigating root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of production systems using monitoring tools, promptly identifying anomalies, and taking proactive measures to prevent potential problems. Monitor the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly.
- Escalation: Assist in managing and escalating critical incidents CRD and other appropriate teams, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal impact on business operations. Uphold accountability for incidents or aging issues by escalating to our vendors appropriately.
- Documentation: Promote effective documentation and work closely with the business to help document their workflows with the objective of improving team understanding of critical workflows.
- Change Management: Participate in change management processes by reviewing and challenging proposed system changes, assessing potential impacts, and ensuring smooth deployment.
- Continuous Improvement: In partnership with the business and stakeholders participate in strategic planning to enhance support model; participate in the development and execution of CRD/Alpha roadmap and support development of improved product templates/processes
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the Charles River platform, make recommendations for, and implement, enhancements to optimize system performance and functionality.
- Conduct annual materiality assessments for CRD and ensure either ad-hoc or scheduled supplier questionnaires are completed promptly and accurately.
- Support collaboration with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents relating to the CR IMS platform, collaborating closely with end-users, Charles River Development (CRD) and internal technology teams and ancillary vendor-partners.
**What we’re looking for**
- Computer sciences degree or demonstrable equivalent experience at this level.
- In-depth understanding of investment management workflows and processes, including portfolio management, trade order management/execution management, electronic trading, compliance, operations and risk management
- Ideally Strong technical skills in supporting and maintaining the Charles River system (CR IMS) or other relevant front office systems, including system analysis, data management, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of T-SQL (transact SQL) and an ability to query SQL databases at an intermediate level of expertise
- Extensive experience in providing support for the CR IMS platform to front and middle/back-office users. Versions 17.x onward, focussed on Manager Workbench, Trading, Post-trade interfaces and some exposure to pre
