Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Singapore

Reporting to: Trade Manager

Experience: Minimum 5 years in shipping or trade support roles

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of pricing strategies for Middle East & Indian Subcontinent trade lanes
  • Monitor booking trends, equipment utilization, and space forecasts
  • Prepare quotations, tender documents, and trade reports
  • Liaise with agents, sales, and operations for cargo coordination
  • Assist in market research and competitor rate analysis
  • Maintain trade documentation and tariff accuracy

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in container shipping
  • Familiarity with ME/ISC port pairs and cargo mix preferred
  • Organized, proactive, and strong in data analysis
  • Good command of English & Chinese (spoken and written); additional regional languages are a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and presentation tools
  • Willing to travel according to company instructions
  • Able to work independently and under time pressure
