Our client, a regional construction and engineering organization involved in large-scale infrastructure and building projects across Asia is seeking an accomplished Project Director to drive large-scale operations end-to-end

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Construction Execution

  • Oversee all construction activities from planning through completion
  • Approve contracts, tenders, and construction plans
  • Manage site risks and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Supervise subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery

Project Completion & Handover

  • Manage defect resolution, commissioning, and testing of systems and equipment
  • Oversee stakeholder expectations and validate completion of errors, defects, and variations
  • Approve handover documentation for submission to relevant authorities

Safety & Sustainability

  • Implement and monitor Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies
  • Recommend improvements based on safety incidents and trends
  • Drive adoption of environmental sustainability and green building practices

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance
  • Contribute to strategic business development objectives
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Drive efficiency improvements in time, cost, and quality
  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance with organizational frameworks

Requirements:

  • Educational background in Building Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
  • 20+ years managing large-scale (>$100M), fast-track building projects, including experience leading full-cycle projects valued at $1B+
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating multi-functional, multicultural teams with strong ability to drive performance and foster talent growth
