A Common Thread is seeking an exceptional Project Director to join their Interiors team. The principal role of the Project Director will be to drive and develop the design direction of projects, manage interior projects and the interiors team to ensure they are executed as intended. The Project Director will work closely with the Creative Director and will be required to have a minimum of 6+ years of experience creating and executing luxury commercial projects from inception to completion in Singapore and overseas. Proven client facing experience, excellent communication, design and management skills are essential.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead and coordinate a number of projects and the interiors team from inception to execution
- Create, develop and drive concepts that translate through documentation and into reality
- Drive the team’s development of CAD drawings, details and renderings, specifications
- Design to a set budget
- Coordinate with external consultants to integrate specialist information
- Converse, present and review with clients, representatives, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and consultants to ensure the overall objectives of the project are met
- Drive projects and ensure milestones set are met and manage designers time to meet project financial targets
- Be comfortable on site and be able to provide on the spot design solutions that arise
- Ensure A Common Thread’s standards and the level of quality and service are met on each project

**KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor of Interior Design or Architecture
- Professional experience in luxury multi-residential and hospitality projects
- A minimum of 6+ years of relevant full-time work experience
- Proven track record of built projects in Singapore and Internationally
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good hand sketching and graphic skills
- Autocad, Sketch-up, InDesign, Photoshop skills are essential
- Team management and leadership
- Producing or leading detailed design and construction packages
- Producing client design presentation packages and client facing skills
- Working to budgets
- Styling and installations
