About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller – APAC to oversee financial controls and ensure compliance across operations in the APAC region. This senior role offers significant regional impact and exposure, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all controllership functions within the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic decision-making support to senior stakeholders.
  • Strengthen internal controls and enhance risk management and operational efficiency.
  • Drive process and system improvements to optimize regional financial operations.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, ideally within multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Strong expertise in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and regional accounting standards, regulations, and tax frameworks.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across functions.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking ownership.
