Roles & Responsibilities

A Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of services and projects to customers, ensuring that estimates, scopes, and resources align with customer expectations and contractual commitments. Key aspects of the Delivery Manager role include:

  • Reviewing and accepting or rejecting Lifecycle Services (LCS) estimates in the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) process, acting as the Profit & Loss (P&L) owner for these estimates.
  • Receiving notifications to review CPQ estimates and comparing them against scoping files provided by Business Development Managers (BDM) or Renewals teams.
  • Managing the acceptance or rejection of estimates and ensuring that project IDs (PIDs) are generated and tracked properly.
  • Using tools like Services One for managing delivery contacts, updating forecast information, and handling support cases.
  • Coordinating with various roles such as Delivery Project Managers (DPM), Technical Program Managers (TPM), Technical Consulting Engineers (TCE), and Customer Success Specialists (CSS) to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in onboarding, kickoff meetings, and ongoing delivery activities, including validating data flow and enabling portals as part of service delivery.
  • Overseeing delivery segmentation aligned with service tiers and cost models to ensure appropriate resource alignment and timely delivery of value to customers.
  • Handling Customer Escalations
  • Managing Day 2 team of engineers and operations managers
  • The Delivery Manager role is integral to the end-to-end delivery process, focusing on financial ownership, estimate validation, resource coordination, and customer engagement to drive successful service outcomes.
