Assistant TenderManager

Salary: $5,000 - $6,000 +$100 Mobile Allowance

Working Hours: Monday -Friday (8.30am to 6pm)

Working Location:Braddell

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Tender /Contract Manager in preparation andsubmission of Tenders.
  • List the scope of workand commercial requirements in order to determine the risks of theproject.
  • Create Tender File in order to haveproper tender management tracking and monitoring.
  • Prepare and follow-up on the Request for Quotations tosuppliers/sub-cons in order to ensure tender costing and technicaldata to be submitted on time.
  • Collate pricecomparison, costing summary and technical proposal in order toprepare tender submission.
  • Study the addendumand/or corrigendum documents and update costing summary withtechnical proposal accordingly.
  • Prepare andupdate tender submission documents on time.
  • Maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and propermanner.
  • Prepare presentation slides necessaryfor the tender interviews.
  • Any otherworks/duties that are assigned by Superior.
  • Prepare plans and documents for quotations to suppliersthat will be used as basis for pricing.
  • Obtains, compiles and evaluates quotations from therespective suppliers/vendors according to tenderrequirements.
  • Prepare bill of quantities whichinvolves quantity take-off, material sourcing, measuring andestimating materials and labour costing.
  • Carryout the detailed breakdown pricing.
  • Understanding of Tenders with respect to scope of work,pricing schedule and non-material requirements.
  • Attend onsite and consultants' architects and associateconsultants in the administration ofprojects.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • 3 years' experience in tendermanagement role (construction industry - electrical forbuilding).
  • Knowledge in HT LV, ELV systems,and ACMV / Fire systems is anadvantage.
