Key Responsibilities
1. Manage ICT Programmes at the UPTLC/PD TL
- Project manage Centre-initiated ICT projects.
- Coordinate HQ ICT project roll-outs for schools while ensuring adherence to policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Provide regular project updates to SH (ICT).
- Prepare relevant documentation and guidelines.
- Work with SH (ICT) to gather ICT needs and propose solutions that meet technical specifications and market pricing.
- Assist SH (ICT) in purchasing ICT/AV equipment and services via bulk tenders, tenders, and quotations.
- Evaluate projects for ICT budget utilization.
- Oversee replacement, condemnation, and inventory of ICT/AV equipment.
- Manage loan of ICT/AV equipment.
- Assign work and supervise the Centre's Technology Assistant (TA).
- Work with ICT trainers, 3rd-party vendors, and support staff.
- Serve as the point of contact with clients for ICT project-related matters.
- Escalate issues and feedback from the Centre to relevant divisions (e.g., ETD) for timely resolution.
- Facilitate and support sessions via MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Skype.
- Collaborate with hosts, panelists, trainers, and assist participants during large-scale meetings, conferences, events, and workshops.
- Maintain IT records, track licenses, manage asset loans and distribution.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for end-user devices.
- Offer guidance and training to colleagues to enhance ICT skills.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate complex incidents as needed.
- Maintain accurate support request and resolution records.
- Create landing pages, maintain and update school website content.
- Monitor and optimize website performance.
- Set up equipment, plan shots, and capture events (e.g., annual ceremonies, launches, graduations).
- Perform post-production using various video editing software.
- Act as a technical focal point for IT Shared Services and Service Owners.
- Support networks, servers, AV systems, smart devices, and telecoms.
- Maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, IP phone systems, and peripherals.
- Diploma in ICT with at least 5 years of relevant ICT experience.
- Preferably 5 years' experience working in MOE Singapore schools.
- Proficiency in:
User administration (Active Directory, Outlook, VPN, Wi-Fi, mobile devices).
Configuration, installation, and maintenance of hardware/software.
Video conferencing applications (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype).
Contract/vendor management and ICT project management. - Strong skills in interpersonal communication, planning, analysis, and negotiation.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate in a team.
- Experience in videography, photography, and post-production editing.
- Broad IT knowledge, including networks, servers, AV, and telecom systems.
Position: ICT Executive
Duration: 12-Month Contract (21 Nov 2024 – 20 Nov 2025)
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am – 6:00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service generally not required on weekends and public holidays.
- Occasional Saturday duties may be required (compensated with time-off).
