Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Reporting management and supervision


• Ensure Asia BUs monthly / quarterly deliverables are submitted on time and accurately, provide support to BUs if needed


• Review monthly commercial and cash report


• Review annual and quarter closing of the accounts (including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, off BS items)


• Review reforecasts and budget deliverables


• Help to prepare presentation for quarter closing meetings, reforecast and budget meetings with head office

Internal control and process improvement


• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations


• Ensure compliance with group rules and ethical guidelines


• Continuously improve way of working and reporting in Asia BU


• Develop and implement cost control measures to improve profitability


• Review of the bonds and guarantees

Statutory audit


• Oversee external audits, support the BU and ensure audit reports are issued on time


• Review net equity reconciliations with BUs

Support and training for BU teams


• Daily support to the business units in the zone


• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the BU and regional teams

Bridge with HQ and JV partners


• Ensure coordination with the JV Partners


• Ensure coordination between French headquarter and Asia BUs

System and tool implementation


• Oversee the implementation of the group tools


• Miscellaneous mission given by the Head Office, the Regional Director or CFO

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years experience in the area, experience in construction industry or project management is preferred


• Accounting qualifications or big 4 experience preferred


• Proficiency with IFRS and familiar with local GAAP in South East Asia countries


• Good communication skills to deal with teams from different cultures in Asia and Europe


• With can do attitude and can deal with ambiguity to provide guidance to BU teams


• Proficient with digital tools, Office, various accounting software, Power BI, power Query etc


• This position will require travel across South East Asia.
