• Lead and supervise a team of Piping Engineers and Designers as the Lead Engineer of the project
• Ensure efficient Project Execution within the stipulated schedule and budget
• Familiarity with Offshore Piping Materials, Stress Engineering, Platforms and FPSO layout design, Material handling, Piping/ Pipe support design, safety requirements
• Conduct 3D Model Reviews as per the Project requirements
• Effectively manage design changes and provide appropriate solutions as needed during Project execution
• Responsible for the production of deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports and various third-party submissions
• Provide skills, integrity and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practices
• Understand clients 'needs, identify and address design parameters and problems, and develop and implement solutions
• Perform Inter-discipline & discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group
• Review and manage project and general specifications, engineering procedures and engineering policy
• Adhere to company processes and procedures
• Responsible for all work completed in his/her section and delivered to the client
• Ensure efficient and effective production of project deliverables
• Assist the Department Manager in discipline related activities and work sharing with other centers

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering with 20 years of experience
• Experience in Offshore platform / FPSO Piping Engineering
• Familiarity with offshore/FPSO piping materials, stress, layout and support engineering and design concepts
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and coordinate well with the piping materials, stress and layout teams, as well as other disciplines
• Possess hands-on experience as Lead Piping Engineer for large sized FPSO/Offshore platform projects
