About the role

As an EV Sales Consultant (Proton e.MAS), you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) within the local market. This full-time position is based in Leng Kee Road, and will involve engaging with potential customers, providing expert advice, and facilitating sales of the Proton e.MAS EV model.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engaging with prospective customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences
  2. Demonstrating the features and capabilities of the Proton e.MAS EV model
  3. Educating customers on the benefits of EV ownership, including cost savings, environmental impact, and the latest technology
  4. Assisting customers with the purchase process, from initial enquiry to final delivery
  5. Maintaining a strong knowledge of the EV market, competitor offerings, and industry trends
  6. Collaborating with the broader sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  7. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and memorable purchasing experience

  1. Proven sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers
  3. Excellent product knowledge, with the ability to clearly explain technical features and benefits
  4. A keen interest in sustainable technologies and a passion for promoting the adoption of electric vehicles
  5. Adaptability and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the rapidly evolving EV market
  6. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a sales team
