Roles & Responsibilities

A highly experienced and technically proficient professional responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of complex IT systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, and implement IT solutions independently to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Enforce and implement robust security measures to safeguard systems and data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and system reliability.
  • Assist the IT Manager in leading or co-leading various IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor system logs and security alerts to detect, respond to, and report any threats or anomalies.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues efficiently.
  • Perform incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to optimize system functionality and enhance user experience.
  • Act as designated backup support for the IT Support Office responsible for vessel-related operations.
  • Manage IT procurement activities, including vendor coordination, billing, and contract management.
  • Execute and maintain daily, monthly, and annual IT operational checklists to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline IT processes and increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT system engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and M365 administration, particularly in compliance and security.
  • Proven track record of managing or facilitating IT projects within enterprise environments.
  • Strong networking skills with experience in managing and configuring next-gen firewalls.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • ITIL certification is required.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert (MS-102) certification is preferred.
