Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Response to customer's query in a timely manner.
  • To coordinate with our vendor and arrange cargo collection from shipper.
  • Perform booking and booking optimization. Perform duties related to document preparation and traffic coordination in a cost-efficient manner for all export shipments.
  • Prepare, control and distributes all required export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee supplier, etc.) and ensure that they are compliance with the internal regulations and procedures. Check response from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents.
  • Follow up shipment status and uplifting and keep internal and external parties updated, identify and ensure resolution of incidents.
  • Develop and maintain excellent service to both internal and external customers at all times.
  • Coordinate with vendors on timely pick up / transfer of cargo. Send all related documents to Company's appointed vendors for permit declaration.
  • Accrual all costs in system and book in vendors invoices.
  • Any others additional tasks and duties required by superior.

Job Requirements:

  • Min GCE "O" Level or Diploma in Logistic Management / Supply Chain / Business Management.
  • Minimum 1 year working experience preferably in a freight forwarding industry, with good knowledge for Air Export business especially on documentation and customs clearance will be an advantage.
  • Possess high initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail who is proactive, meticulous and efficient.
  • Possess positive attitude and must be a good team player in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
