Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Point of Contact for all EHS matters in the company's logistics division across 7 countries in Southeast Asia, including Australia.
  • Serve as the EHS champion to manage and handle all EHS-related matters across the region.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on EHS matters and work closely with the Regional EHS team.
  • Create the EHS roadmap and action plan to achieve EHS performance metrics and goals.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide guidance to subsidiaries to ensure compliance with local statutory EHS requirements, company and building safety standards, and environmental regulations (including waste management, emissions control, and sustainability initiatives).
  • Develop EHS performance metrics and implement best practices for safe work procedures.
  • Conduct EHS training, risk assessments, and safety audits internally.
  • Conduct incident investigations, prepare related reports, and determine corrective or preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
  • Continually seek ways to improve EHS performance and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) roles.
  • Familiarity with EHS rules and regulations across SEA countries and Australia.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experienced in conducting EHS training, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Familiar with safety or quality certification programs, including ISO standards and safety & health management systems.
