About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Application Sales Specialist to join our team. This quota-bearing role is focused on pursuing and landing qualified leads, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. You will collaborate closely with Client Managers and internal subject matter experts to drive sales success and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Domain & Industry Expertise
- Maintain subject matter expertise in one or more technology domains.
- Support sales closures with deep domain knowledge.
- Stay informed on competitive landscape and market strategies.
- Collaborate with technology vendors to enhance solution offerings.
Client Engagement
- Understand client business goals and challenges.
- Present value-driven solutions and conduct workshops.
- Build relationships with multiple client stakeholders.
- Personalize solutions to align with client needs.
Sales Execution
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Client Managers to support and close deals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans.
- Forecast and manage medium to long-term opportunities.
Deal Definition & Support
- Scope and document client solutions.
- Highlight potential risks and ensure proposal accuracy.
- Use sales methodologies and tools to drive process efficiency.
- Partner with internal teams to manage scope and delivery.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate effectively.
- Deep understanding of IT Managed Services and solution-based selling.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and adaptability.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Experience & Qualifications
- Solid experience in technology or services sales.
- Experience selling complex solutions to C-level executives.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security solutions.
- Degree in Technical or Sales field preferred.
- Certifications in Solution Selling, SPIN, or Scotworks negotiation methodologies are desirable.
