This is a full-time restaurant assistant manager role at Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki, an acclaimed fine dining establishment located in the heart of downtown Tanjong Pagar. As the assistant manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the restaurant's operations and driving its continued success within the Hospitality & Tourism industry.
What you'll be doing
- Assist restaurant manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including front of house, back of house, and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for guests
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
- Monitor and analyse restaurant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar assistant manager or management role within the fine dining or high-end hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
