Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Advise and co-ordinates all research grant applications and ensure that the applications are complete according to guidelines and stipulated requirements.
  • Assist supervisor in research fund management. Advise PIs on budgeting for grant application. Collates and submits all grant-related reports.
  • Build a strong Research office to facilitate ACP-Surgery clinicians' research.
  • Act as key admin resource for all research matters within ACP Surgery.
  • Support strong relationships and partnerships with key internal and external partners.
  • Co-ordinates, manages and supports workshops, seminars and conferences organised/sponsored by Surgery ACP.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree, preferably in science, engineering or health sciences
  • Familiarity with research, either as an investigator or administrator preferred
  • Familiarity with an academic healthcare setting also advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A good team player who is able to work independently
