Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope:

· Provide individualized support to students in managing challenging behaviours in school, including support management for meltdown

· Support the SEN team to implement behaviour intervention and learning support plans for students with SEN in collaboration with academic team and other stakeholders

· Maintain records of student progress and interventions implemented

· Assist with organising and implementing programmes for students with SEN

· Partner with SEN team, academic team and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment conducive to the success of students with SEN

Requirements:

· Relevant qualification in Inclusive and Special Education, Education, Psychology, Applied or Educational Psychology, Counselling and/or relevant areas

· At least 3 years of experience supporting students with SEN, preferably in an educational or social service sector setting

· Passion and disposition to care for and work with students with SEN.

· Resourceful and good problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse background, and collaboratively with different stakeholders in student support

· Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

· Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and administrative skills

· IT proficiency in data management, with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience in facilitating workshop and events management would be an advantage

Location: Tampines

Contract Period: 11.5 months

Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm

Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm
