Job Description
  • Manage, maintain, and optimise PostgreSQL / Sybase databases to ensure peak performance and reliability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful DBA (PostgreSQL/ Sybase ) should have:

  • Atelast 6 years of PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA experience in administration and management of IT Database technologies
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / Sybase database management.
  • Hands on with L2 support
  • Open for working in Shifts
  • Experience in working in similar Production setup in Run (Operations) mode
  • Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimisation.
  • Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Understanding of database security and data protection principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a technology team in a financial services environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
