Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tradelane Development Executive / Manager to drive the volumes and profitability for our Intra Asia EU / China trade lane. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating actionable plans and processes to optimize performance, drive growth, and establish strong relationships with stakeholders across the region. This position requires a strong focus on identifying new opportunities, improving profitability, and supporting the sales teams in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities:

· Drive volumes and profitability for the Intra Asia EU / China trade lane through well-articulated and achievable action plans and associated processes.

· Identify and address areas of improvement to optimize volumes and profitability.

· Identify growth opportunities for new lanes, working closely with countries to ensure optimal pricing practices and the timely establishment of services.

· Collaborate with the extended sales teams to identify key opportunities in the pipeline, including active participation in the RFQ process.

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive Trade Lane Sales strategy, conducting periodic conference calls with all relevant stakeholders.

· To achieve revenue generation, profit, and expense objectives for the specific trade lane.

· Provide monthly Sales status reports to management, including volume and income variances.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess 5-8 years of experience in the air freight industry, preferably focus on the European / China market.

· Minimum of a Diploma in a related field; candidates with over 8 years of experience in logistics are encouraged to apply even without formal educational qualifications.

· Previous trade lane management or Sales experience in a similar business.

· Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in acquiring new customers.

· Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities focus on driving results and delivering value.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with logistics management software is a plus.

· Ability to understand, analyse and communicate complex data to internal and external stakeholders.
